Q?I need to rent items for a short period, can I do that?

Yes, at AARENTAL.COM.AU we offer rental periods from one month to six months.  Just let us know what rental term you need when you call.

Q?Do I need to clean the goods before they are picked up?

We would appreciate that all rental items are clean and tidy prior to collection.

A cleaning fee may be charged if items require more than our standard clean.

Q?Can I buy my rental goods?

Yes, if you choose, you can buy your rental items at any time after your initial rental contract period.  Simply contact us and we can let you know what our process is and the buyout amount.

Q?Will I need to insure the rental goods when they are in my home?

Yes, you are responsible for the rental property while it is in your home and we strongly encourage you to have contents insurance for protection.  If you choose not to have contents insurance, any loss or damage to rental property will be your financial responsible.

Q?Can someone else take over my rental if I move out?

Yes, the goods will have to remain at the current location but we can organise the rental contract to be transferred to a new flatmate’s name with your help.

Have them call us 2 weeks before your ‘transfer date’ so we can get their name and contact details to arrange a new agreement to be set up for payment and contact.  We can arrange a home visit for the signing of documents, or it can all be done via email.

Q?I think I may not have enough money this week to pay for my rental, what do I do?

If you have insufficient funds available on payment day, call us the day before your payment is due to be taken to make alternative payment arrangements. This will save you a dishonour fee from Please see your terms and conditions for details.

We are flexible so you are able to change payment day or dates that suits your situation. Just call us at least 2 days prior to any changes to your payment details before your next payment is due, we’re here to help.

Q?My TV doesn’t work, what do I do?

Call 07 33982475 and we will trouble shoot the problem over the phone.  If that does not solve the issue we will come to your home and swap it or repair it.  This can be done within 1 business day.

There is no cost for this service unless the problem is user error. 

Q?Do students receive discounts?

Yes you do…for packages over $50.00 per week Call today and speak with our friendly staff about our offers.

Q?Are there lock in contracts?

Our longest lock in contract period is 6 months. Our minimum lock in contract is 1 month.  If you no longer require your rental items in the contract period, you pay the difference in the shorter term rental rate or the balance of the rental owing for the term.  You will only pay the cheaper option.  A fee may apply of $25.00 – $35.00 for collection of individual items during the rental period. 

Q?Where are your serviced areas & delivery times?
A. we service Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Redcliffe. There is a minimal delivery charge for our serviced areas. Please contact our office for the cost to your suburb.  A delivery fee will be charged for areas outside Brisbane Metro Area.  Delivery is available Monday to Friday only.

Q?Do I have to wait all day to have my goods delivered?

Definitely not!  Unlike some others, we give you a one hour window for delivery. We strive to deliver your rental items at a time that suits you.  We are always happy to call you when our driver is on the way. Delivery is available Monday to Friday only.

Q?What payment options are available?

We offer a range of payment options.  You can opt to pay via direct bank credit, credit card.  Please talk to our staff to discuss the best payment method for you.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express (a 3% surcharge applies for American Express payments).  Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly and must be kept paid in advance.

Q?Is a bond or deposit payable?

Yes.  On or before delivery, a bond is payable.  Your bond consists of the total of two weeks rent.  This bond is refundable upon return of your rental items in good and clean condition.  Your first two weeks rental is also payable on or before delivery.  We accept Credit Card or Cash on delivery.

Q?Do I pay for servicing on goods if there’s a problem?

At we guarantee to repair or replace your rented items if they break down! If the fault is user error you will be charged a call out fee of $35.00.  If the problem is not user error we will repair or replace your item for no cost.

Q?Can I swap my furniture or appliances?

The option of upgrading or swapping your items with is available any time, you never know when your needs may change.  A $35.00 charge may apply for this service.

Q?What warranty comes with my rental goods?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund* for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

*Refund does not cover rental monies paid, but relates to the purchase of Goods only within 14 days of purchase. Talk to us about this or see our terms & conditions.

Q?Do you charge for delivery when I rent from you?
A. delivers to Brisbane, Gold coast and the Sunshine coast. There are delivery charges applicable to the various areas please contact us for the price to deliver to your home.  Service with a complete smile.
